Family Sabbatical

Author: Carol Ryrie Brink
Review Writer: Book Girl
This is a great book if you are on a sabbatical, or about to go on one, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't read it! It is about a family who is taking a sabbatical in France. They have to survive without hotdogs, ice cream, and all the other American foods. They learn that even though they are away from home, it is still a lot of fun. Such as when it is Thanksgiving, the French consider it just a day, the kids put on a pageant with wild Indians. They have a lot of fun. And to find out what else happens, read the book!
