Travels of Thelonious

This is a really good book! The cool thing about it is that it is part Graphic Novel, which means that part of it is like a comic book. It is about this chipmunk named Thelonious who can talk. He lives in a time after the humans were on earth. During a flood he gets whisked away to the City of Ruins where he meets a porcupine named Fitzgerald who teaches him to read. They meet a bear called Olive who is making a flying machine so that she can return to her home, a place called Fog Mound. Soon her machine is done and Thelonious and Fitzgerald want to go with her. Can they make it to Fog Mound even though all around it there are dangerous gases? To find out what happens, read the book.

This is a really good book! It is about a boy called Harry Potter who lives with his mean aunt and uncle and their son. He seems to be making strange things happen such as setting a humongous snake free and making his hair grow back overnight. Then one day he finds out that he is a wizard and has been accepted to the Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry! He goes to the school, meets some friends and starts to learn magic. This is a really good book! It is about this girl named Matilda who is a genius but has really crazy parents and brother. She loves to read but her dad does not like it when she reads. When she finally gets to go to school she gets a wonderful teacher but a horrible headmistress (principal). Her teacher realizes that she is a genius and wants to move her up a lot of grades but the headmistress will not allow it. Matilda realizes that she can move things with her eyes. This is a great book! It is about an orphan who takes a really hard test and passes. Then he and the other kids that pass meet Mr. Benedict and he has them go on a secret mission to save the world!!!!!!!!! They need to go to an advanced school where the owner is broadcasting hidden messages into hundreds of minds. At the school there are no rules: you can stay up all night as long as all the lights are turned off at 10:00, you can go anywhere in the building as long as you keep to the yellow tiles, and you can go anywhere outside as long as you stay on the path.
