Inkheart

Author: Cornelia Funke
Review Writer: Book Girl
Every page of this book is pure awesomeness! And it sure is a lot of awesomeness, because this book is 534 pages long. It is about a girl called Meggie who finds out that her dad can read things and people out of books when he is reading out loud. She finds out that when she was three her dad was reading out loud and read two villains and a fire-eater out of a book and read her mother, and the two family cats in. What could happen with people like that out loose in the world? You have to read the book to find out!

Sounds like a good book! Do you have it in Costa Rica? Maybe I can read it when I come visit!

Hi Holly,
Yes, I do have it in Costa Rica, and I will gladly let you borrow it. The only thing is they are making a movie of it so the copy I have from the library is the new edition with the new cover, so you will just have to pretend that it has the cover that is mostly red.
